Mapa - Design Gallery

A platform based on the promotion of work by an independent community of national and international graphic designers, illustrators, and photographers.

FOUNDER OF THE GALLERY – MAPA – DESIGN GALLERY

In addition to the online platform, the Gallery’s mission was the implementation and curation of various exhibitions and installations in public and private spaces across the Algarve region.

The gallery was founded together with a former student of the Master’s Degree in Communication Design – TC at UAlg – ESEC, Alexandra Santos. The Gallery also served as a design platform involved in the production of limited editions of works focused on Portuguese Design.

Several exhibitions were implemented in the Algarve region, namely at the Algarve Design Meeting, Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes in Portimão, and the Algarve Regional Conservatory of Music in Faro.

Projects carried out
Graphic brand design, copywriting, visual identity and communication, website and social media development, and the curation of several exhibitions in the Algarve region, namely at the Algarve Design Meeting, Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes in Portimão, and the Algarve Regional Conservatory of Music in Faro.
